To abandon the traditional methods with the disadvantages of complexity,time-consuming and component components weights immutability for the bridge assessment, this paper proposed a optimization model of the assessment methodology for bridge detection based on the BCI evaluation method in the bridge detection evaluation system and combining the convenience, stability and elegance of C# Programming language. The optimization model in this paper has many advantages such as the component weights can be coordinate, the computing time is extremely short, the computing result has a high precision and the detection and the evaluation reports are automatically generated. Taking "the bridge in the western of Wafangdian, Industrial Park" for example, according to the condition of the bridge, adjust the component weights appropriately in the program, input the data that visual detection recorded into the optimization model, compared the calculation result with the traditional results, the stability of the optimization model could be proofed by the result of the bridge construction test. The rationality and superiority of the examination and evaluation of the optimization mode is more significant. So it is feasible to improve the work of detecting and assessing the bridge by the comparison and verification of the calculation results of the optimization model.
