Nature is the source of human’s life, but with the expanding urban area, people have ignored the important role nature plays in maintaining physical and mental health, a series of health and environmentl problems stand out.The importance of nature be concerned once again, natural environment which can heal mind and body problems has become a common aspiration of modern man. In nursing homes and other medical institutions, rehabilitation of the landscape as a means of adjuvant therapy gradually attracted attentions of the medical communities and landscape designers. How to use landscape to ease sense of oppression and vulnerability medical institutions bring to people, how to use the natural landscape to improve people’s health status, to create a more humane place for medical institutions, became the main point of research in China and other country..Paper first describes the background and significance of the study, and then the process of healing landscape from the domestic and international development, Based on these drawing the thesis’ research methods.make an overview of the healing landscape, depending on the features for classification, combining environmental behavior and environmental psychology to analyze the physical and psychological needs of different groups within the nursing home, and come to the relationship between healing landscape and human behavior and psychology, seprate the healing landscape from general medical landscape area. Put forward design techniques and strategies for the healing landscape space used in nursing homes from road design,plant community design, waterscape design,architectural sketch design,humane space design,etc. Finally through appreciating the excellent foreign healing landscape design cases and using actual design cases of healing landscape in nursing home, to expand the design points and methods of healing landscape,and look ahead and think about the prospects of nursing home’s healing landscape.
