The research content of this thesis belongs to the category of the aero-engine metrology and detection technology. With the rapid development of modern aviation industry, the manufacturing level of aero-engine has greatly improved. Aero-engine as the heart of the aircraft, its quality and performance is related to the entire aircraft life. The inspection in order to guarantee the quality of products under the existing conditions, high precision measurement of the important parts of the engine is very important. The curvic coupling structure is mainly applied to the connection of the high speed rotor, such as the engine compressor rotor and the turbine rotor. Because of precision processing and difficulty detection of the curvic coupling, traditional measurement method can't meet the process requirements, it's imperative to use advanced detection technologies and methods. Based on the research of the application, processing, measuring principle of curvic coupling and common geometric quantity detection method, combined with the actual situation and existing conditions, the advanced detection technology will be used in measurement of curvic coupling standard parts and production parts.In this thesis, the application and measurement of the curvic coupling at home and abroad are reviewed. In foreign countries, the type of parts of the application is earlier, the measurement is generally realized with special equipment; In the last two years, the processing and application of this kind of parts have begun to use, and the testing method mainly depends on the traditional measurement and coloring inspection. In the color image processing, it's short of objective basis with using visual observation and artificial judgment.Through the research on the measurement theory and measurement method, combined with the testing conditions of the metrology department and the production field, the measurement of the thickness of the tooth, more than ten technical indexes of tooth thickness, tooth addendum, tooth profile etc. of the curvic coupling standard parts and parts are realized. The quantity value transfer and traceability among the original gauge, checking gauge and test gauge have been implemented. The improved method of the tooth top height measurement is proposed by using three coordinate measuring technology, planning reasonable inspection path. Then a vision-aided coloring inspection method is proposed, where the image processing function of MATLAB is used to realize the recognition and processing of the contact pattern, and it gets rid of the traditional visual recognition method.The existing measurement results and measurement uncertainty are analyzed and calculated, to determine whether the test method meets the standard requirements, the measurement system analysis is implemented of the determination method. The results are consistent with the requirements, the design methods can be applied in actual measurement.Through the research on the measuring technology of the geometrical parameters of the curvic coupling, the detection of this kind of parts is realized, it also provides inspection experience for other similar parts. The vision-aided coloring inspection method can be applied to the treatment of other parts. The research results provide reliable data support and quality assurance for the development and production of the curvic coupling parts for the company.
