With modern development of green industry, industrial equipment application has higher technical requirements of the motor, permanent magnet synchronous motor as emerging in the application of modern motor driven equipment, with excellent performance, stable operation ability and high precision control mode, has gradually replaced the traditional electro-magnetic motor, are widely used in all walks of life. Especially in the industrial equipment the development trend of lightweight, permanent magnet synchronous motor requires more and more small volume, high power density is becoming more and more, traditional permanent magnet motor design to meet the requirements, using high-performance materials to field-circuit combined with the design method and simulation is the design of the new permanent magnet synchronous motor. In this paper, we study and design is a 3.3 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor used in industry, rated speed 2000 r/min, wide speed range, suitable for work under more speed. Design with high performance permanent magnetic materials with low loss silicon steel sheet, with advanced process methods, and adopt the method of heat dissipation potting glue to reduce motor temperature rise, improve the motor performance, reduce the size of our motor, the design conforms to the modern industrial motor development trend of high power and lightweight.First of all, reviews and analyzes the domestic and foreign research present situation and the development trend of permanent magnet synchronous motor,and discusses the structure types and design characteristics of permanent magnet synchronous motor, and several kinds of analysis and calculation method of permanent magnet synchronous motor has carried on the comparative study. Study analyzed the field-circuit combined analysis method to calculate the design advantages, through Ansoft finite element analysis software to carry on the design analysis and verification of effective shorten product development cycle, improve the design accuracy.Secondly, analyses the basic principle of permanent magnet synchronous motor, established the mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor dq coordinates, analysis of motor equivalent circuit, provides the theoretical basis of design for the motor. At the same time, combining the technical index of permanent magnet synchronous motor, appearance size requirements and specific application environment and control characteristics, analysis of permanent magnet synchronous motor design and parameter selection principle, which is based on experience value, forecast the electromagnetic load and electricity, preliminarily determine motor groove, groove number, rotor structure, the number of magnet, the form of stator winding, winding parameters such as heat load.Again, using the magnetic circuit calculation method, main dimension parameters of permanent magnet synchronous motor in detail calculation, combined with the electromagnetic field analysis method, with the aid of finite element analysis software Ansoft, modeling and simulation on the motor. To observe the magnetic field lines of motor and magnetic clouds figure, through the simulation results of no-load magnetic field is analyzed with the load of the motor, the motor back EMF waveform, torque, current waveform and watch the motor cogging torque ripple, and harmonic analysis on the motor. And on this basis, through the change of the permanent magnet magnetization direction and size parameters of the thickness and every slot stator winding circle number, length of air gap, etc., analyzes different parameter design results the impact of the performance of motor.Finally, experiments have been carried out to test and analysis of permanent magnet synchronous motor, including motor load testing, performance testing, overload capacity of the back EMF waveform measurement, the cogging torque test. The operating condition of under different load and speed. And magnetic circuit to calculate the result of the test results and the simulation results on three aspects of the comparison and analysis of causes for the study design, magnetic circuit calculation and simulation analysis is verified by experiment results, the accuracy of the field-circuit combined with motor design method has been proved.
