| The crankshaft is one of the most important parts which have more complex methods and more processing procedures in the engine. Therefore, for the machine tool manufacture and the purchaser,the research on how to improve the machining accuracy, the reasonable integration of the crankshaft machining process, and to reduce the processing cost of the crankshaft is the important problem.This paper is based on the project of Tianrun crankshaft production line. Through the analysis of the crankshaft machining process, a new type of special CNC milling and drilling machine tool for crankshaft machining is developed. The machine can complete the process of lateral positioning of the crankshaft milling, the face milling, the center hole, and the cylindrical turning all together on one time, and realize the multi-process machining of crankshaft.The product’s research and development in China is the first time, and as the new product research by the Group. the product is Shenyang machine tool equipment Co., Ltd.-2011-2012 key R & D projects.This paper studies and designs a new type of special CNC milling and drilling machine tool for crankshaft machining, and its main contents are as follows.(1) Analysis Tianrun Co., Ltd. original WP12 six cylinder crankshaft processing technology and process equipment, and compare with the machining process which applied on the new special CNC milling and drilling machine tool for crankshaft machining, and determine the advantage and feasibility of the new scheme.(2) Research and develop a new type of CNC milling machine tools for crankshaft machining, and do a more complete research on the structure of the machine tool, determine the overall design of the machine tool, determine the structure, the overall layout, and the machine parameters, etc.(3) The machine tool spindle, milling power-setting and the clamping fixture are introduced emphatically, and the rigidity of the main parts are analyzed.The new special CNC milling and drilling machine tool for crankshaft machining has been developed successfully. It not only improves the machining efficiency and the machining accuracy of the crankshaft, and for the crankshaft machining production line, but also reduces the number of the crankshaft machining machine tool and the operator. It is also greatly reduces the cost of the crankshaft machining line, reduces the labor intensity of the operator and reduces the number of energy consumption. |
