With the pace of urbanization speeding up and economic development in our country, Car ownership continues to grow, the problem of road safety is increasingly serious. Driver fatigue is an important reason leading to traffic accidents. So timely detection and mitigation of driver fatigue and give an alarm has an important significance for reducing traffic accidents. By analysis of EEG detect driver fatigue and relieve fatigue by transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation, more significant role in early warning and mitigation of driver fatigue.EEG is the most direct reflection of brain activity, in this paper, a method can be based on the real-time detection of EEG driving fatigue. The system can be real-time detection of driver fatigue. Firstly, the 0(0.5-4Hz) and ?(4-8Hz) rhythm form drivers' EEG signals are extracted using wavelet packet decomposition, then their average power spectrum are calculated. Finally the average power of 0.5-8Hz bands EEG signals are calculated. Two different time period, comparing the average power analysis in terms of the contrast level of fatigue. When the driver fatigue is detected after reaching need stimulus threshold, start for providing electrical stimulation to Laogong point. Through experiment verification, found that with the help of electrical stimulation, the subjects' brain electrical signal in the slow wave activity relative to weaker without stimulation. The results show that the system has certain effect to alleviate fatigue driving.
