| Under the new international environment, to promote collaborative innovation has become an important part of national strategy. Research universities as the main part of innovation and research, plays an important role in it. Research had shown that internal interdisciplinary contacting has an assignable effection to improve innovative ability of creative individuals. Then, building an appropriate physical environment space has a huge impact on promoting activities’ interdisciplinary communication. Even so, the design theory’s level of research campus still lags far behind the construction of research university’s need in our country. Currently, the main problems that theory couldn’t keep up with the actual situation.This article embarks from the actual needs, puting the interaction between the innovative behavior in innovative space and outdoor space landscape as a research breakthrough point, and combined with environmental behavioral psychology and landscape design for interdisciplinary research. Paper analysis what is research universities outdoor innovative behavior in the method of investigation and literature, and studying the precedent about the foreign research university innovative space design way, summarizes the types and basic characteristics of innovation space. From the perspective of landscape design, discusses the interactive relationship of innovative behavior and space. It is concluded that a set of a POM design tools about landscape design method in research university innovative space.Paper is mainly divided into the following three parts:First, questioning(chapter 1、2、3)First of all, in the new environment, designers are lack of the theory about designing research campus innovation space, it’s resulted that the theoretical level lags behind the actual demand of the construction. The paper is based on the perspective of space environment design and behavior psychology, discusses the regularity and characteristics of research university innovative behavior, and come to a conclusion that innovative behavior is made up of four steps,they are passing, attracting, staying, communicating. As well as the innovative behavior’s patterns have three types. They are flow type innovation behavior patterns, participative behavior patterns and conditional innovation behavior patterns. Finally, through precedent research of Harvard University innovative outdoor space, it is concluded that the landscape elements and characteristics of the innovative space. At last,we get some precedent library of the design method.Second, analyzing the problem(chapter 4)To resolve how to build research universities innovative outdoor space, the research begain in the interactive relationship of innovation behavior and space. Then, analyzes the four steps innovative behaviors demand for to the space form, they are accessibility, identifiability, comfort and diversity. In reverse,how sidewalk, node landscape, landscape facilities and space types affect innovation behavior. And taking a case study of huazhong university of science and technology, analysis that the interactive between innovative behavior and space. Then,we can get a inspiration of landscape designing strategy about innovative space.Third, resolving the problem(chapter 5)Based on the above analysis, using POM design tools to tease innovative space landscape design method based on behavior mode. We will get a POM frame of landscape designing method based on the innovation behavior. The four design strategy system, such as a landscape road design that meet the passing behavior, landscape nodes that meet the attracting behavior, landscape facilities design that meet staying behavior and different space that meet the communicating behavior. Then putting them and precedent as a cognitive prototype design and research library. Under the principles moving with specific design task, it can get the related design instruction. The process is very well teased the designer’s thought process, to avoid the design ideas of subjective one-sidedness. |
