Research Of The Real-time Monitoring System Of Running State Of Locomotives

With the development of railway transportation, the freight task of trains is heavier, and rail transport security requirements have become more sophisticated. Speeding up the establishment of a sound operation safety ensuring system in railway and advancing the process of information system in railway transport are of great significance for railway safety.Depot is a major rail traffic sector, which mainly take pack trains or passenger trains, freight trains, line powered special tasks, and play a crucial role in railway safety during transport. According to the maintenance status quo of information construction and locomotive safety in real demand, locomotive needs advanced management concept as a guide to further improve locomotive safety management level, improve crew safety command, and control the locomotive safety risks effectively. Locomotive depot at present can only grasp the locomotive information in the depot, but cannot get the real-time information about locomotives out of depot. In order to protect the locomotive’s safety and ensuring timely rescue after the locomotive emergency happens, the depot needed a real-time understanding of the locomotive in transit. Building a locomotive traveling information monitoring system is an urgent need.How to use CDMA wireless communication technology, GIS geographic information technology, real-time locomotive kilometers to remote real time tracking and positioning of running locomotives is studied in this article. And by adding in-vehicle hardware systems, the locomotive’s comprehensive running information collection for a ground monitoring system in real-time, and safety command center feedback related to the locomotive are realized. The Author analyzes the state of depot information and explains the importance of locomotive monitoring and then research the formulation of the monitoring system information back and display technology solutions based on Visual Studio 2010 platform according to the development of locomotive depot on the characteristics of information requirements,and use C# language constructs a locomotive traveling information monitoring system of ground terminals, realizing the running locomotive remote real-time monitoring for road safety.Object-oriented modeling, hierarchical modular design and fault-tolerant processing and multithreading technology are used to ensure the system of the timeliness and reliability. The system has been installed in a locomotive Depot and test is completed and running in good condition so far.
