Solving the traffic problems in the field of application of cloud computing techno logy is a hot trend of the current technology research. In the field of transportation, by around every corner of the city road detector and floating car data is huge, and has th e characteristics of wide coverage, rich information, very suitable for application tech nology of data mining and realtime analysis. In the massive data technology of urban t ransportation, the use of GPS floating car data, realtime calculation of the link travel ti me and the evaluation of road congestion state, can be based on realtime traffic path p lanning, travel time prediction, road congestion prediction research provides data such as the foundation, will help the traffic regulation platform and residents to understand the current state of road traffic parameter in time, travel time and travel route in adva nce planning.This paper mainly studied the application of cloud computing technology process ing massive floating car GPS data, calculation method to evaluate urban road travel ti me and traffic state and implementation process. This article through to the GPS floati ng car map matching technology research and analysis, put forward is applicable data calculation of map matching method and the concrete implementation process; based on the research of travel time estimation method, puts forward an improved method f or estimating the less sample, at the same time probes into the concrete implementatio n of the Storm cloud platform technology; based on the research of traffic congestion evaluation analysis, presents a simple evaluation index based on link travel time, at th e same time studied in Yun Ping scheme of realization of the audience.This paper has done research work mainly as follows:(1)The study of system the basic technology of GPS floating car technology- the main principle and method of map matching technology, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of main map matching method at present proposed is suitable for the pr actical application of big data to improve the matching method based on weighted. To solve the problem of matching efficiency in mass of data real-time processing and GI S method, divided into four sections of the grid matching method is put forward, the weight calculation method for the optimization and utilization of road network topolo gy structure of the screening method for matching section, the specific technology im plementation process is given at the same time.(2)The research analyzed the urban traffic road travel time estimation of the main method, considering the situation in actual use and summarize each method advantage s and disadvantages, puts forward comprehensive time interpolation method and spee d- time integral method of the improved method: based on the running time and spee d of less sample estimation method. On the basis of the estimation of the link travel ti me at the same time this paper proposes a new assessment model for simple congestio n.(3)The design of the realtime travel time estimation and evaluation method in the cloud platform specific road jams algorithm flow and the implementation scheme, and application of Storm cloud platform for actual application development and applicati on.
