Recently, “Smart Hotel” has gradually been in a hot research, it means to provide users Information Technology Services and Personalized service through intelligent systems with networks, so as to improve service quality and experience of customers. As theme hotel which has a stronger demand for intelligent and personalization, close to “Smart Hotel” has become a trend. The theme hotels offer combinations of equipment within each room to create a specific theme, to provide a personalized experience for users, so room control system is one of the indispensable module to realize intelligent for theme hotels. There are products about Intelligent Control for now, but there is a lack of products that can centralized the control of all the equipment by terminal system. What's more, the communication protocols of present intelligent control system are specific targeted(such as KNX), which can only support the specific equipment. These communication protocols don't have reasonable solution for scene design and multi-equipment access.As for this, a solution project of hotel room control system and protocols are proposed. The rationality of the project is analyzed in many ways. And the system is implemented to be tested. Specific studies are as follows:(1)The Smart Room Control Protocols(SRCP protocols) was designed in this paper, it adapts the thought of hierarchical design, which can support the equipment of KNX, ZLL(ZigBee Light Link), multi-user concurrent access and fault tolerant. The main function of SRCP is to keep the information exchange between the room control system and top-level management system and the controlled equipment.(2)Dynamic design method is being used to make the system can be configured scene through the mobile terminal, and distinguish the scene designers' limits by authentication function to manage the effective time of the scene which designed by different users with different limits.(3)Using device virtualization design ideas to integrated some device controller into the system, to improve device compatibility of the system, while achieving device hot-swapping function?Virtual resource scheduling mechanism is used to achieve a reasonable allocation of system resources.Finally parts of the functions and performance of the system are tested in detail, and the test results are analyzed, through which reasonable assumptions are made of the next improvements. The test results show that the project proposed in this paper: 1) is designed reasonably; 2) has stable performance; 3) has safe and reliable communication protocols. The room control system designed in this paper is working stably in many theme hotels.
