Study Of The Airborne Integrated Display System Simulation Technology Based On Airbook

With the development of computer technology and electronic technique, as well as the appearance of highly integrated display unit, the new layout replacing the old one can help pilot achieve the most useful flight and combat information in a flash. That will be more effective to manage the plane and complete the mission. Airborne integrated display system is an important man-machine interaction device including one head-up display and three multifunction color displays, and it can provide the pilot related information (plane state, flight information, battlefield situation.etc).Before developing a certain type aircraft training simulator, this paper has made a research based on integrated display system simulation. The main work of this paper is to elaborate the methods and steps of developing the airborne integrated display system's simulation program which is based on Airbook. Firstly, this paper introduces the Airbook's development environment and simulation process. According to the design's requirements, the paper puts forward a whole system development process combined with the Airbook's mechanism. Then, according to the overall design, a virtual cockpit environment has been established, the function of each display unit has been introduced, and the simulation display picture has been drawn.The design and implementation (based on user input response and page switching scheduling method) have been introduced, and the method of text information update as well as graphical symbols action has been introduced either. Finally, the method of changing flight simulation program has been introduced briefly as well as the debugging result between integrated display system and flight simulation program.The simulation software can reappear the function of all integrated display system display units (picture dispatch, modify, reading, memory.etc), and it can also provide a good interactivity as well as authenticity. Consequently, the integrated display system simulation program is suitable to the aircraft training simulator as well as other types of airplanes.
