The continuous development of society has changed people's lives. The elevator is such an important form of public traffic tools that it is coming out in shopping malls, theaters, stadiums, exhibition halls, logistics, warehouse and so on. In providing people with great convenience and quick service at the same time, it also often causes trouble and harm. All kinds of elevator accident such as header, squat down bottom, slide and fall shaft etc. Accidents happen frequently. According to relevant data, the rate of elevator accident the next few years is high. Elevator safety peremptory has become a social problem that nots allow to ignore. Therefore, the elevator safety has become a social problem that nots allow to ignore.At present in the elevator industry, research and application in our country on the elevator safety evaluation technology is still in its infancy, and so as the theory research. By studying the codes and standards related to the elevator, and learning from experts, summarizing the elevator safety accidents, we establish the basic requirement of elevator safety. Comparing several kinds of safety assessment methods in the application of the elevator, we can perfect the elevator safety evaluation method system. According to the relevant data and information, in contrast and summarized on the basis of safety evaluation methods both at home and abroad, the research in this paper mainly includes four parts:Firstly, through the analysis about the structure of the elevator system, on the basis of traditional elevator eight system, we increase the ninth "elevator system building system",and put the construction of the lift system into the safety assessment of the lift;Secondly, analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of various safety assessment methods and applicable conditions, safe check table method is used for main safety protection device of elevator, because of being in time. Elevator accidents common shear map fault tree layer upon layer analysis to find a way to shear accidents;Thirdly, hierarchical analysis is adopted to run for safety assessment of the lift.According to AHP judgment matrix complex is hard to find. Eigenvalue and eigenvector are implemented by programming and consistency check;Forthly, using the Matlab neural network toolbox implements the elevator safety evaluation. And by compositing the hierarchical analysis and neural network, we find it will improve the accuracy and speed of the neural network evaluation;Eventually, we use accident tree software to analysis three kinds of elevator shaft accidents. Namely, sliding accident, squaring down bottom, and header accident. Using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) in software for example to evaluate the security situation of the lift,the result is in conformity with the actual.The practice proved that the method in this paper is convenient, efficient, effective method in safety assessment. It will help to improve the safety level of elevator in our country and support government's management.
