The Applied Research Of Main Technology On Traffic Impact Assessment For Urban Construction Project

The urban transportation has a great important significance on healthily developing the city and its traffic. The traffic impact assessment (evaluation) for the city construction project has also play the key role in coordinating the development of city land and city traffic, which reasonably analyzed the effects of the project on the surrounding road network in the the aspects of its scale, planning and design, traffic organization and management, and put forward the improvement plan and measures, through analyzing and summarizing the operation of road network and traffic facilities within the scope of its influence. The application results show that the traffic impact evaluation plays a bridge role on the rational allocation and scientific guidance in fully utilizing the city land and exploiting its projects. With the further promotion of evaluation work, the competent authorities on construction of the urban have paid more and more attention on the traffic evaluation for construction project.This paper states the key technology of urban traffic on the evaluation system and the evaluation process, which is based on analyzing and refining research at home and abroad and connected with the existing situation of research and its evaluation. This thesis also describes the prediction methods on different traffic volume based on investigating the basic situation of traffic flow. The measures generally use the classical "four stage" to forecast the background and the travel demand of project transportation. Finally, the Saturation and service level of hierarchy is used to determine the influence degree of construction project on the road and important intersection, thereby, improving measures are put forward.Finally, the author uses the real case carries on the practice test, by using the method presented in this paper.
