| With the rapid development of automobile industry and the increasingly fierce competition between the main automobile brands, how to shorten the development cycle of a new vehicles has become an important means to automobile enterprises to remain competitive. Stamping process is a basic technology of car body production,which determining the precision of the car body, appearance and its economy. As a link between product design and manufacturing, The advanced extent of stamping process design is one of the important symbol of the levels of automobile manufacturing.The stamping process design of traditional automobile body panels mainly depends on engineer,s experience, and the experience is rely on long-term accumulation of engineer and the teaching of experienced engineer, so the stamping process design of traditional automobile body panels lacks of systematic research. In addition, different people has different knowledge, different people’s understanding of the same process can be different. The same part will have different process from different engineers, even the same part will have different design schemes from the same engineer in different time. The normative and informality of automobile body panels, stamping process design will brought great difficulties to products,stamping process design quality and efficiency.As the developing of computer technology, CAD/CAM/CAE technology can give full play to the designer’s subjective initiative to improve the design efficiency and quality of designing. However, stamping model industry is a traditional industry,stamping process designing needs experiences, As a result, the succession and development of the excellent stamping process can not only promoting the development of model industry faster, it also can greatly shorting the test period of new models stamping parts and product percent of pass.This paper studies the application of knowledge engineering in the area of the body panel stamping and the key theory of stamping process, and automobile body panels stamping process design knowledge model has put forward, by studying different kinds of car body,s B pillar,s structure characteristics and forming performance, this paper has made whole process of stamping process analysis and design to B pillar. This paper has made a systematically studying to the main points ofstamping processes on forming performance, and it has introduced the whole process of B pillar,s stamping process designing, stamping process plan layout, and the springing back compensation. For welding plate used in B pillar stamping, this paper also studied the influence of the variable blank-holder gap circle on the properties of the weld offset and forming of B pillar.Basing on KBE, this paper has developed the automobile body stamping process analysis system frame and B pillar analysis interface by using Microsoft Visual c + +6.0 and UG/Open API. By using B pillar analysis interface, this paper has made a process designing and simulation to a B pillar,s knowledge model. The results show that the technical analysis system can easily guide B pillar stamping process designing, the simulation results meet the requirements of parts quality, and it has improved the speed of the B pillar parts process designing. |
