Mechanical seal is important to rotating machinery, such as reactors and compressors. Non-contact mechanical seal is an important structure type in mechanical seal, has been widely used because of its good sealing performance. The traditional non-contact mechanical seal cannot actively adjust the seal clearance between the seal surface, the seal clearance size and fluid film are unstable, and the plant conditions and media conditions seriously affect the seal clearance and the stability of fluid film. This project proposed a new type of non-contact magnetic mechanical seal, it can maintain a stable sealing performance by the electromagnetic force and fluid pressure. In this dissertation, study the non-contact magnetic mechanical seal performance by analysis the fluid film and electromagnetic parameters.? Set up the mathematical model for analysis the electromagnetic force of the non-contact magnetic mechanical seal. Combine the non-contact magnetic mechanical seal structure, working principle and electromagnetic field theory to analysis the magnetic flux density and the electromagnetic force. Build the calculation model of the magnetic flux density and the electromagnetic force.? Establish the hydrodynamic model for analysis the fluid film of the non-contact magnetic mechanical seal. Combine the non-contact magnetic mechanical seal structure, fluid film parameters and the hydrodynamic theory to analysis the fluid film parameters of seal faces. Build the calculation model of the fluid film.? Build the magnetic fluid coupling model of the non-contact magnetic mechanical seal. Analysis the seal performance parameters by combining the electromagnetic force and fluid film of the non-contact magnetic mechanical seal. Establish the calculation model of the seal performance parameters.? Analysis and research of the non-contact magnetic mechanical seal performance, mainly focus on the opening force, fluid film stiffness and leakage. Through the analysis of the calculate results, study the fluid film and electromagnetic influence on the performance of the non-contact magnetic mechanical seal.In this dissertation, the author makes researches of non-contact magnetic mechanical seal performance by the way of numerical calculation, analysis the fluid film and electromagnetic parameters influence on the seal performance, provides theoretical supports and references for further research.
