Recent years, because of the rapid development of wireless communication technology, the Global System for Mobile Communication for Railway is proposed and developed for application, which has provided a key technical support for the communication-based train control (CBTC) system. Currently, the CBTC system has been widely used in the field of urban railway system, and it makes the real-time, high capacity and two-way train-to-wayside data communications come true. The most advanced system moving automatic system (MAS) is adopted in CBTC, and the application of MAS improves the running effi-ciency and reduces the cost at the same time. But considering the reliability of data commu-nication can not meet the application of MAS in high-speed railway, therefore, thesis analyzes the problems of the application of MAS in the high-speed railway, and makes a modelling for it. The main research contents are as follows:The constitutions and functions of CTCS-4 level train control system based on wireless communication is analyzed, and the minimum headway principle of moving automatic system and the system modeling idea using Petri net are analyzed, whih provides a theoretical basis for the establishment of the coloured Petri nets (CPN) model of high-speed train tracking process.Thesis establishes the model of the train tracking process for high speed railway using CPN Tools. The model describes the on-board equipments of the following train:automatic train protection (ATP) and automatic train operation (ATO) in detail, it reflects the features of the real-time adjustment of train acceleration in MAS. Finally, the state space analysis is used to verify the correctness of the model, and the tool MATLAB is used to draw curves for the simulation data obtained. From the analysis of the graphics we can know, the MAS train tracking interval control principle can meet the safety and efficiency requirements, and the smaller the control cycle is, the more advantageous the adjustment of train behavior is.Considering the time delay of the train-to-wayside data communications in train racking control process, thesis makes a combination of the principle of moving automatic system and data packet loss phenomenon of information transmission, and uses the hierarchical-timed-colored Petri nets (HTCPN) to establish the CPN model of the train-to-wayside data commu-nications in high-speed train tracking process. It adopts the performance analysis method to study the performance of the system, gets the performance analysis statistical tables, and draws the corresponding performance charts, from the analysis of the charts and tables, we can know the confidence interval of the communication time delay and time average output characteristics of the key output devices. The simulation result provides a significance of reference for the application of the MAS in high-speed railway, it also provides a software design for the MAS system development.
