Nowadays, rock slope stability of road hinder the further development of the highway that has become one of the important factors, due to the discreted distribution and small scale, detailed mechanics parameters of the slopes are difficult to obtain,.so the existing rocky grading system are difficult to apply. Thus, establish a rapid and effective grading methods for the evaluation of highway rocky slope stability has become a pressing problem.In paper, stability analysis and reinforcement measures of ordinary highway slope are summarized and concluded, through accessing to previous data, taking field investigation, laboratory experiments and theoretical analysis. Taking the ordinary highway rock slope expressway as the object of study, t has found some useful conclusion by researching the influential factor, distribution feature and formation mechanism of slope deformation and destruction systematically and deeply.By surveying,the main destruction model of the slope in the researched 129 rock slopes of Liaoning Province expressway are landslide, collapse. The cause of formation relates to landform and the feature of geologic environment. The main influence factors are divided into natural factor and artificial factor. The four factors that topography, rock geological conditions, meteorological and hydrological conditions, rock weathering play a major role in the natural factors. The artificial factor includes highway construction and the cognition degree to slope deformation and destruction. The former is in control, the latter play a catalytic role.According to on the feature of the destruction model of the slope in road rocky slope of Liaoning province combined with engineering site survey results, weakening the of smaller secondary factor of slope stability, appling fuzzy mathematical theory in slope stability classification research, We adapt secondary fuzzy evaluation model, choose 14 factors which can influence the stability, confirm their threshold value and standardize them. We use the expert evaluation method and drop semi-trapezoidal of the formula method in the degree of membership of the corresponding factor. The factor weight number is determined by method of 1-9 degree in the analytic hierarchy process. Through the above mentioned research methods to build classification evaluation model for highway rock slope in Liaoning province. According to the evaluation results, the rock slope of Liaoning province is divided into three levels: stability slope?local unstable slope?unstable slope. Recommend appropriate measures for strengthening governance on the basis of slope stable level.
