Combustible gas detector is a security product that can be used to detect different combustible gas and warn about it in combustible and explosive area.When the leaking gas reached the upper or lower limit of explosion in the environment,combustible gas detector will alarm.It warns staff to take the security measures to avoid fire and explosion accidents.The quality of combustible gas detector has a direct impact on the ability to detect the concentration of combustible gas accurately.It needs to develop a system as much as possible to simulate the real environment scene.The paper describes the current situation and development trend of combustible gas detectors.People have more acknowledgements on the fire protection along with the deepening of industrialization and much more attention being paid to the significance of the fire fighting.Through the analysis of national standards 15322,a detachable structure by bolting which is convenient to transport and install has been developed.Teflon is filled up between the steel plate to guarantee the air tightness and thermal insulation of the cabinet.The system can test the response thresholds of the combustible gas detector under different situations.On the basis of static and dynamic ratio method,a new idea of“dynamic gas distribution,real-time monitoring has been took.The device controls the testing process with industrial control computer which lead to higher automation and better anti-interference ability.The system adopts a fuzzy-PID controller which has small overshoot to control the temperature and humidity.The simulation model is built to verify the correctness in the SIMULINK environment.The controller has been made a data block download into PLC through the way off-line.A system software is also developed with Visual Basic to make the system capable of accomplish the tests required in the national standards.At the same time,the interface is simple and practical,the system has the ability to record and print automatically.The testing result of combustible gas detector has been presented in the end of this paper.Conclusion can be drawn that this system can fulfill its design goal.
