The concept of Carbon has been mentioned in the year of 2003 in the English, the effect of Greenhouse gas attracts everyone's eyes, the architectural concept of low-carbon emerges conforming to the trend of the times. The construction Companies favored how to enhance the value of the project. The degree Which is good or bad, the project scheme optimization determines the quality of the value in the stage of project definition, therefore the scheme optimization in the stage of stage of the project definition belonging to the low-carbon architectural, is an essential issue. However, the management of the value is a value tool which can achieve the scheme optimization via using the means of the scheme optimization based on upgrading the concept of value, it can distinguish necessary functions or unnecessary functions efficiently and quickly, by studying the actual cost of carbon technology in the low-carbon architecture and comparing the its' cost?functions and performance. Hence, making use of the methodology of management value is very significance to the scheme optimization of the project definition in the low-carbon architectural.At first, this paper interprets essential connotation of low-carbon buildings through defining the concept of low-carbon architecture, energy-efficient buildings, ecological buildings and sustainable buildings, analyzing the value driven factors to analyze the differences between the value of the low-carbon architecture and the value of economic value. Then, anlaynezes the operation mechanism by introducing the concept and features of the low-carbon technology in the low-carbon architecture,at length, sets up function analysis by making use of function analysis system technology,analyze cost of low-carbon technology in the low-carbon architecture by putting to use function cost matrix material and analyze the function contribution to performance using function matrix,finally, draw the necessary function and unnecessary of the low-carbon architecture using the sensitivity matrix.This paper demonstrates feasibility and scientific of the scheme optimization using the management value on the stage of project definition in the low-carbon architecture through a series of analysis.
