In this dissertation,we developed a methodogy to construct the carbon-phosphrous bond via phosphrous radical. Then we show our synthetic approach towards the natural product cochlearol A.The main contents include the following three parts: Chapter 1: Methods for introducing phosphonates groups.A brief overview of the introduction of phosphonic acid groups in organic compounds was presented.Based on the hybridization state of reactive carbon atoms, reagents and catalysts, the introduction of phosphates groups into organic compounds was discussed.Chapter 2: Methodology development of carbon-phosphrous bonds based on phosphorus radical additions. The research progress in the construction of carbon-phosphrous bonds was briefly introduced. The reaction of phosphrous oxide compounds to phosphorus radical, the combination of phosphorus radical and unsaturated carbon-carbon bond formation of carbone-phosphine bonds under the visible light and transition metal catalysts was explored. We successfully developed a methodology to preparation of ?-ketophosphorous oxide from allylic alcohol through transition metal catalystic.Chapter 3: Studies on the synthesis of cochlearol AWe briefly present the separation, bioactivity and structural features of meroterpenoid cochlearol A.Two different stratiges for the synthesis of cochlearol A were tested. This synthesis work is still undergoing in our lab.
