Shipping is the most important way for oil transportation. With the rapid development of oil shipping, the probability of oil spill accidents on the sea also increases.Oil spill accidents not only cause huge economic losses, but also have serious ecological consequences, which have a serious harm to human health, safety and environment. In many marine oil spill treatment methods, using absorbent material to adsorb and recycle is a very efficient method, natural organic oil-absorbing material is cheap, easy to get, biodegradable, and not easy to cause secondary pollution, but it also has some flaws like low oil absorption rate, poor selectivity of oil and water, and poor oil-retaining properties, therefore hydrophobically hydrophobic modification of natural organic materials for oil spill accident handling and oil-water separation has become the focus of research. In this paper, the study on the method of preparation of hydrophobic oil spill accident emergency absorbing material by sol gel modified ramie fiber was made.the optimization and analysis of the modification method was made as well. After the reaction conditions in experimental process by the method of single factor and orthogonal analysis, the optimum pretreatment conditions, the amount of water and catalyst for controlling hydrolysis and condensation, the reaction concentration and the reaction time of OTS modified liquid in low surface energy treatment were determined and discussed. Finally, ultrasonic treatment for15min and 20%NaOH solution for 3h,the sol-gel reaction in the volume ratio of C2H5OH:TEOS:H2O:NH3·H2O as 9:1:2:0.6.The system was subjected to hydrolysis condensation reaction to prepare the surface micro-nano rough structure. The modified hydrophobic and oleophilic ramie fiber was obtained by soaking OTS with 1%OTS-n-hexane modified solution at room temperature for 3h.The maximum water absorption ratio of modified ramie fiber was 0.22 g·g-1,which was98%lower than that before modification. The absorption rate of diesel oil, soybean oil, lubricating oil and crude oil is 8.96,11.01,15.61,18.03 g·g-11 respectively, which increased greatly, the ramie fibers before and after modification both fit the quasi-second-order adsorption kinetics model, and the oil absorption rate is high.Modified ramie fiber has a strong oil-water selectivity, hardly absorbing water in oil and water mixed system.Based on FT-IR characterization results,it can be seen that the modified ramie fiber has less glial components,SiO2 adhered to the surface of the material, and long-chain paraffins successfully grafted to the fiber surface.SEM analysis shows that the surface of the material appears micro-nano rough structure, and there are still a large number of porous structures. The modified material has obvious water repellency with water contact angle of 134°and shows better lipophilicity. The environmental adaptability of modified ramie fiber was studied. The changes of environmental factors?water temperature, wave, salinity, etc.?under laboratory conditions were simulated. The changes of adsorption capacity of diesel oil and lubricating oil were studied. The results showed that the oil absorption of natural materials increased with the increase of water temperature and wave intensity first and then decreased, increased with the increase of salinity and increased with the decrease of pH value, modified ramie fiber to simulate the marine diesel oil and lubrication The maximum adsorption capacity of oil was8.45 and 14.50g·g-1.
