Abstract/Summary:
Study on the remaining oil is not the only the main task of reservoir management in the middle and late period of oilfield development but also an important means to achieve the development strategies of "stabilizing oil production and controlling water".Most oilfield has entered the middle and late period of water flooding development, and remaining oil distribution becomes more and more complex. For the fractured low-permeability reservoir,it possesses some properties such as low porosity, low permeability and strong heterogeneity characteristics, which make it more difficult to find remaining oil distribution.Prediction of remaining oil in fractured low-permeability reservoir is currently an urgent problem needed to be solved in the oil industry. There are developed natural fractures in the fractured low-permeability reservoir, and remaining oil distribution has relations with some geological factors and development factors such as sedimentary micro-facies,geological structure, reservoir heterogeneity and fluid properties.Taking southern Yaodian oil field as an example, based on the full consideration of the characteristics of fractured low-permeability reservoirs in Shanbei and the clear research on the blocks sedimentary facies, diagenetic facies, this paper studies the relationship between sedimentary facies, diagenetic facies and the development of natural fractures.Combined with the production data, water flooding patterns in low permeability reservoir are presented, further more, the corresponding three dimensional geologic model is developed and residual oil distribution pattern is obtained.Research results show that the fractured low-permeability reservoir sedimentary facies and diagenism have obvious effects on natural fractures. The distribution mode of remaining oil in low permeability fractured reservoir based on sedimentary facies, diagenism provides a new direction for the prediction of remaining oil in low permeability reservoirs.
