Chlorinated polyethylene rubber,which prepared through the substitution reaction of polyethylene and chlorine,is a kind of polar rubber with saturated molecular chain.Due to the good chemical stability,high resistant to ozone,aging,oil,heat and retard to flame,chlorinated polyethylene rubber could not only be widely employed in hose,tape,waterproofing roll,wire,cable,auto parts and fire retardant,but also could be used in developing acid-assistant and oil-assistant top roller and seal product after the combination with other rubbers.Both graphene and graphite oxide are novel carbon materials with the architecture of two-dimensional sheets,which indicates the excellent physical mechanical property and thermal stability.Graphite oxide is a two-dimensional sheet material with many polar groups on the surface of sheet,which expresses relatively large specific surface,strong ion-exchange ability and wide interlayer spacing.This paper mainly focused on the use of these unique properties to make composites with polymers to prepare GE/CM and GO/CM nanocomposites,and study their mechanical properties,vulcanization systems,and dynamic mechanical properties of the materials.It indicated that with the increasing amounts of graphene,the cross-linking degree of GE/CM also increased.The tensile strength and elongation at break of composite increased first and then decreased.While the use level of graphene is 3 phr,the mechanical property improved the most.Besides,the addition of coupling agent could also improve the mechanical property of materials.With the increase of graphene,the Payne effect also increase,the addition of coupling agent could decrease the influence of Payne effect.Among GO/CM composites,the existence of active groups on the surface ofoxide graphite will affect the cross-linking of vulcanization system.This paper investigated various vulcanization systems,such as BIBP,ECHO.A,NA-22 and PDM,to the performance of composite.The result showed that NA-22 have the best vulcanization effect to composite.While the amounts of oxide graphite equivalently substitute carbon black is 2,the mechanical property of composite is the best.Coupling agent could affect the cross-linking degree,scorch time and tensile strength of glue stock.The effect between GO and CM increase under the effect of coupling agent,which led to the increase of storage modulus G'.Furthermore,coupling agent could obviously decrease the Payne effect of GO/CM composite.
