In recent years, the phenomenon of aggregate-induced emission?AIE?of the compounds has gradually aroused general interests of researchers in China and abroad. This is because that the special fluorescence effect of molecules, and these special photo physical properties make these molecules have broad application prospects. This particular phenomenon was first formally proposed and carried out by Professor Tang Benzhong's group and conducted a series of related exploration and report, these molecules in a variety of pure organic solvents almost no fluorescence effect, but in some mixed solution or solid state, some special photo physical changes will occur. In this thesis,we firstly synthesized five target compounds containing tetraphenyl ethylene?TPE?group and benzoyl hydrazine structure.Five target products were synthesized and characterized by 1H NMR,13C NMR and MS-EI.The structures of the synthesized intermediates and final products were confirmed to be correct.Secondly,we studied the photo physical properties of five tetra butyl derivatives with different substituents. We found that the fluorescence intensities of these five compounds have a nonlinear relationship with the water content in the DMSO/water mixed system. With the gradual increase of the water content in the solution, the fluorescence intensity of the compound reached a maximum at a certain concentration. When the water content exceeds this specific ratio, the fluorescence intensity of the compound gradually decreases. This phenomenon shows that we have synthesized benzoyl hydrazone structural tetraphenylene derivatives is a typical class of AIE molecules. We further observed the aggregation morphology of five compounds under different water contents by scanning electron microscopy, and studied the influence of different substituents on the state of aggregation, such as induction effect, hyperconjugation effect and steric hindrance. Finally,we studied the selective recognition of different metal ions in solution by five fluorescent compounds. We chose more than a dozen different transition metal ions and found that these five compounds have good selectivity for Al3+recognition.The binding ratio of these five compounds to Al3+was also studied by Job's Plot curve. The results show that the compounds Al3+can be detected with high selectivity.Such studies can be used to analyze and detect Al3+in the factory effluents, wastewater and other pollutants in the future. In the next step,we will further study the function and application of fluorescent compound containing tetraphenyl ethylene structure.
