Study On New Type Of Gel Dry Water Fire Extinguishing Agent And Its Extinguishing Efficiency

Abstract/Summary:
Dry water is a material with a large amount of solution,which is coated by hydrophobic silica,different from dry powder fire extinguishing agent and water mist fire extinguishing agent,dry water as a fire extinguishing agent combined with the advantages and characteristics of the above two kinds of fire extinguishing agent.It is easy to transport and store as dry powder,chemical inhibition method,and a large specific surface area,like the water mist droplets,to transport the fire extinguishers.In this paper,6 kinds of dry water fire extinguishing agents are prepared,the best preparation process,parameters,spraying equipment,fire extinguishing efficiency,and their physical properties were studied.Through the method of high speed stirring,the hydrophobic silica and the solution containing the fire extinguishing component are prepared into a dry water extinguishing agent powder.To investigate the effect of solid liquid ratio,different mixing time,rotating speed and other factors on the coating effect.The experimental results show that the best ratio of solid to liquid is 1:19,the best mixing time is 30 s,the optimum speed is22000r/min.Under this condition,the dry water particles are stable,and the coating effect is best.And according to the composition of the other fire extinguishing agent fire extinguishing prepared respectively containing ammonium dihydrogen phosphate and phosphoric acid of dry water fire extinguishing agent,added to the gel agent reinforcement intension of dry material water,help to cool and inhibition of smoldering.Improved spray device,the extinguishing efficiency experiment.The results showed that dry water fire extinguishing performance is good,the phosphoric acid gel dry water extinguisher extinguishing a fire is the best,the gel can attached to form an isolation layer on the surface of wood crib and continuous cooling inhibits the smoldering and resurgence;ammonium dihydrogen phosphate dry water fire extinguishing agent extinguishing class B fire effect best,the water in the fire extinguishing agent can quickly evaporate cooling,extinguishing component endothermic decomposition and capture the combustion reaction of free radicals,cut off the chain reaction to extinguish the flame.And superfine ABC dry powder fire extinguishing agent is compared,the result is quite,but the cost is lower,and there is a wide range of research prospects.Reference to the national standard of dry powder fire extinguishing agent GB4066.2-2004,the bulk density,water retention,mobility,particle size,water resistance,pressure resistance and anti agglomeration of 6 kinds of dry water fire extinguishing agentswere determined.Test results: 6 kinds of dry bulk density of small water extinguishing agent in 0.579g/ml~0.667g/ml between the prepared water extinguishing agent;dry moisture is poor,but the formation of gel can delay the evaporation of water;through the glass sand clock measured density slightly larger two hydrogen ammonium phosphate dry water extinguishing agent liquidity is the best preparation of stem;water extinguishing agent particle size between 0~300 m,adding gel can reduce the particle size;all dry water fire extinguishing agent because of its hydrophobic silica shell preparation,water repellency are better;add gel can significantly improve the dry pressure water extinguishing agent,the damage rate is controlled in a reasonable range in filling under the pressure of 1.2MPa;Determination of dry water extinguishing agent is better than that of the general anti caking powder extinguishing agent by penetration method.
