This topic is comes from the aviation fund project.The main purpose of this paper is studying the residual stress distribution of circular structure which made by electronic beam welding structure of TC17 / Ti60 and the evaluation method of electronic beam welding process.Because of the difference of material properties,the stress distribution of welded joints is complicated.Therefore,researching the residual stress distribution of the joint,and seeking ways to optimize welding process have great significance for the application of structures on engineering.In this paper,a series of study is conducted focus on the core issues.Based on Xray method,the TC17 and Ti60 materials and their welded components are studied.Firstly,the diffraction characteristics of the two materials are calibrated,include their diffraction peaks and the stress constants.Secondly,the evaluation method of welding process is proposed and the relationship between the key parameter and stress is established.Thus,the optimal process of electronic beam welding is given.In the experiments,six welding plates was tested,which three of them are processed by heat treatment.Each welded plate distributed 14 test point,and each point has two test direction.By the corresponding technical means,the problems of testing titanium like the narrow welding line,the small measuring point and the low diffraction peak were solved.In order to evaluate the residual stress of the casing shell of the dissimilar material in the actual project,two ring structures made of TC17 and Ti60 were tested.The 22 test points were arranged on each ring.By a large number of experiments,the residual stress distribution are obtained.And the stress level and the influence area of the welds are concerned.The main results of this paper are:(1)The X-ray diffraction characteristics of TC17 and Ti60 and residual stress distribution of TC17 / Ti60 electronic beam welding circular structure were obtained.(2)Proposed the evaluation method of electronic beam welding process by perspective of stress.And the mathematical relationship between focusing current and stress extremum is established,the optimal processing technology is determined.
