The core components of Rig is mainly made of Q345 B low alloy steel,including crown block,mast,substructure,travelling block and drawworks,etc.,therefore,the Rig fabrication complexity is up to its welding requirement.The thesis proves Q345 B weldability through The chemical composition and mechanical properties of the conventional land drilling rig Q345 B,choice of welding consumable,thermal weldability,indirectly qualification of weldability,direct qualification of weldability,service weldability.The research result proves that Q345 B weldability is not ideal through carbon equivalent calculation,only avoided welding crack by post-welding pre-heat.Another method can be proved good weldability of Q345 B,that is,hardness measurement of welding heat influence area,sensitive test of heat crack,sensitive test of cold crack,sensitive test of reheating crack,sensitive test of layered tearing,mechanical performance test,ect.Also it's no need special process control to reach service performance.
