The clad plate with double ultra-thin stainless steel, due to its good corrosion resistance, low cost and high intensity, which had made it is widely used in oil, chemical and light industry to replace pure stainless steel. Lots of expensive metal elements can be saved by use of stainless steel clad plate, it can also cut down the production cost, all of this make it has a lot of advantages. With reducing of thickness, the clad plate's welding technologies have become more and more difficult for engineers, and have been paid close attention by welding experts from home and abroad. So, solving the welding technologies and making it has very close corrosion resistance, will be useful for the application and popularization of clad plate with double ultra-thin stainless steel. The technological factors to the corrosion resistance of SUS316 stainless steel welded joints were studied in this paper. Besides, TIG, MIG, TIG+M, stuffing with wire and micro-beam plasma arc were used to weld the clad plate with ultra-thin stainless steel. Chemical distribution, microstructure, corrosion resistance and mechanical properties were also be analyzed in welding joints of different welding conditions.Compared with TIG, MIG and TIG+M, welded joints of TIG+M and MIG have better corrosion resistance than that of TIG. It have been indicated that raw material > TIG+M > MIG > TIG in inter-crystalline corrosion resistance and 9.8% H2SO4 solution; TIG > TIG+M > MIG > in 5% hydrochloric acid.Low distortion, good mechanical properties and small size in welding bead can be achieved by laser beam welding, but basal carbon steel has a...
