The crude oil pipeline from Tianjin Port to North China petro-chemical is a new production pipeline,which transports the crude oil of Jidong with the characteristics of high wax content and poor liquidity.As a result,the flow security problem occurs.Jinhua crude oil pipeline is a new operating pipeline,which is short of adequate operation parameters and operation management experience.To ensure the pipeline’s safety,it is necessary to study the wax deposition law to help the managers to master the operation law and the operating conditions.Firstly,the physical property and rheological parameters of Jidong crude oil have been tested.The wax deposition rate of the original Jidong crude oil and the additive Jidong crude oil can be tested by the rotary dynamic wax crude oil experiment device in different oil temperature,different wall temperature and different mixing speed conditions.The wax deposition model of Jidong crude oil has been obtained by fitting method.The operation parameters of each season such as pressure,in and out of the station temperature can be got by the Pipephase software.The wax deposition law of Jinhua line of each season has been calculated by the wax deposition model.Both the safety shutdown time and the critical throughput of the pipeline have been calculated in design throughput condition.The probability of shutdown and startup failure of the pipeline has been obtained by the reliability of the safety evaluation method.The flow assurance of the Jinhua line has been made in in design throughput condition.According to the early production stage and initial operation period,the production plan of low throughput has been determined.The wax deposition experiment has been operated by adding nanometer pour point depressant,which can study the change of the wax deposition law after adding the pour point depressant.According to the experimental result,the flow assurance measures have been come up,such as improving the out-station temperature,heat treatment of the additive crude oil and seasonal unbalanced transportation.And the feasibility and economy have been demonstrated. |
