The reserve of bottom water reservoir is very rich,which accounts for a huge proportion of reservoir reserve in the world.In the development process of bottom water reservoir,the most prominent problems are the water coning and early water breakthrough in the wells.Because the properties of fluid,especially the viscosity are different,the development laws of bottom water reservoir are different.Study on development laws of those different kinds of bottom water reservoirs will be of great importance in choosing suitable strategies to suppress water coning,enhance recovery in the low water cut stage and improve the ultimate recovery.F and H are typical braided river facies bottom water reservoirs.During the process of development,the exploitation effect of F reservoir with high viscosity oil is superior to that of H reservoir with low viscosity oil,which is opposite to the conventional recognition.The reasons are studied by many methods in this paper.The influence of oil viscosity on development efficiency by water flooding is analyzed by establishing theoretical model of water flooding according to Buckley—Leverett theory and the theory result is compared with the practical one.Utilizing mathematical statistics method,this paper studies the waterflooding characteristic curves and water cut rising rules,and analyzes the water logging mode of wells.Using numerical simulation method combined with production performance,this paper studies the impact of oil viscosity,interlayer,development policy,water avoidance height and lifting rate on the development law.The relationship between water cut and accumulative oil production is analyzed under different influence factors by establishing bottom water reservoir numerical simulation model.Based on the former study,the exploitation strategies of bottom water reservoir with different types of fluid are analyzed and summarized.Besides,the exploitation strategies are optimized according to different water cut stages.Study on development law of bottom water reservoir with different types of fluid,especially the research on the high-viscosity F bottom water reservoir,can provide guidance for the development of similar reservoir efficiently.
