Titanium sponge production process is mainly divided into two steps.First of all,obtain titanium sponge and magnesium chloride were by reduction reaction of magnesium and four titanium chloride.Then,use vacuum distillation to remove residual magnesium and magnesium chloride to obtain titanium sponge.Titanium sponge is widely used in aviation?aerospace ? navigation ? chemical ? petroleum ? electricity ? medical ? construction ?sporting goods and other fields,and its future development has good prospects.Because most domestic titanium sponge manufacturers do not have a complete and fully automated control systems,they only have simple temperature and feeding control,have not considered the control of each step of titanium sponge production process,rely on human operation and judgment to complete the entire production process.Therefore,product quality and various production units consumption are very unstable,sometimes good and sometimes bad.Hence this paper strives to establish a perfect control model for the titanium sponge production area,in order to improve the quality of domestic titanium sponge products,reduce various production units consumption.The production method will reduce the production cycle of the reduction furnace by the control method of low temperature and large feed rate,increase production without increasing the number of reduction furnaces.The ultimate goal is to improve the quality of titanium sponge,reduce various production units consumption,to make titanium sponge production process control intelligent.The main contents are as follows:First of all,by understanding of titanium sponge production process,find out the influence factors of titanium sponge quality and various production units consumption in titanium sponge production process.Come to a conclusion that titanium sponge reduction distillation process is an important process that affects the quality of titanium sponge.Secondly,according to the historical data of titanium sponge temperature control points,using the support vector machine in the data mining technology to perform modeling and experimental testing.The effect of temperature fluctuation on the quality of titanium sponge was found through the experimental results.Based on this to establish a control model for each major control point of titanium sponge production,and combine with the technology of reducing distillation process parameters optimization,improved the control method of original titanium sponge production process,make every factor that affects the quality of titanium sponge is controlled to minimum,reduce the interference of human-induced,improve product quality,reduce various production units consumption,so that each production process is controlled within the scope of technology requirements.Finally,hardware selection and software design of the control system are carried out,and the project is completed by using the CX-Programmer programming software of omron system and the NS series of PT man-machine interface.From the data after using in a titanium sponge production plant,the result of project requirements is achieved.
