The environmental and resource problems are critical in present,Green chemistry has become a hot topic.In this paper,PIO(polymer inter-olefin oil)was prepared by environment-friendly triethlamine hydrochloride/AlCl3 ionic liquid catalyst.The catalyst has excellent properties such as high catalytic activity,reusability,easy separation,and environmental protection.In this study,the follow conditions have been investigated,such as different ionic liquids,molar of AlCl3,catalyst preparation temperature,catalyst preparation time,reaction temperature,reaction time,the dosage of catalyst and catalyst reuse et al.The viscosity of products was measured by flat viscometer.The results show that the Et3NHCl/AlCl3 ionic liquid is a optimal catalyst for oligomerization of C11?C12/C13?C14 olefins to PIO.When the mole fraction of AlCl3 was 0.75,the catalytic performance is the best one in the oligomerization.When the preparation temperature is 40?,the yield of PIO is the best.When the preparation time is 1h,the viscosity index is the best.The kinetic viscosity of PIO increases with decreasing reaction temperature.As the reaction time is prolonged,the movement viscosity and yield are increased and then reduced.The results show that the polymerization degree increased with the reaction time.However,as the reaction time is over 4h,it will be harmful to viscosity and yield of PIO.When the dosage of catalyst is over 12.46wt%,the kinematic viscosity decreases.When the catalyst was reused 4 times,the properties of the product changed little,which indicated that the catalyst mixture of internal olefins to prepare PIO Lube Base Oil has a good life.The PIO is compared with PAO from Mobil.It is found that the viscosity index of PIO is little lower than that of PAO,which indicated that PIO base oil is easier affected by temperature than PAO.But viscosity index of PIO is higher than that of mineral oil.Therefore,PIO can replace mineral oil under suitable conditions,which can reduce the chemical by products(internal olefins)treatment costs and reduce the economic cost,have certain economic benefits.
