The explosive growth and reproduction of phytoplankton in water will bring great harm to aquaculture, coastal tourism and human health, and even lead to red tide. The growth and reproduction of phytoplankton are influenced by many environmental factors. Therefore,it is important to explore the main environmental factors affecting the growth of phytoplankton and reduce the occurrence of red tide disaster.According to the measured data of Donggang red tide monitoring area, select the transparency,pH,water temperature, salinity,COD,DO,TN,phosphate and silicate and 9 environmental factors by correlation analysis of sub annual and principal component analysis method based on the dominant effect of Donggang red tide monitoring area of the main environmental factors of phytoplankton growth.First of all, according to the measured data of 2010-2016 in Donggang red tide monitoring area, analyzed the variation of algal species, quantity and environmental factors in each year;secondly, analysis the main environmental factors of Donggang red tide monitoring area of dominant algae using principal component. The results showed that the main environmental factors of phytoplankton were different. The main environmental factors affecting the growth of the Skeletonema cotatum in this area are water temperature and nutrients. The main environmental factors affecting the growth of Nitzschia pungens are nutrients and salinity. The main environmental factors influencing the growth of Eucampia zodiacus are the main physical properties of seawater, including salinity,pH and temperature, and the environmental pollution factor COD.The main environmental influencing factors of pseudo Nitzschia pungens is DO,followed by phosphate and transparency. The main environmental factors affecting the Chaetoceros debilis Cleve as water temperature and salinity. The main environmental factors affecting the Chaetoceros affinis are transparency and water temperature. The main environmental factor for the Cerataulina bicornis(Ehr.)Hasle are nutrients and pH value. The major environmental factors affecting the Prorocentrum donghaiense are transparency,pH and temperature and salt environment.
