Mineral resources is one of the important resources to promote regional economic development,and its development and utilization greatly affect the degree of regional economic development.However,the exploitation of mineral resources will inevitably destroy the regional environment.On the other hand,remote sensing data that has many advantages,multi-scale,multi-data source,fast and real-time advantages can provide scientific basis for the evaluation of environmental quality in the study area,which is conducive to the late regional environment to restore governance.Based on the above information,this paper uses remote sensing data and GIS technology to evaluate the environmental quality of Xinjiang’s largest integrated coal field called Wucaiwan Coal Mine from 2007 to 2016.(1)In this study,using remote sensing data and GIS technology evaluates and analyzes the environmental quality of the study area in the last ten years,which illustrates the applicability of remote sensing combined with GIS in environmental assessment.In the process of research reflects its fast,accurate and efficient superiority.(2)This paper uses remote sensing technology and GIS to evaluate the geological environment of mine.The study area is divided into 532 evaluation units by using the grid analysis method.Each evaluation unit is evaluated from four aspects: physical geography,basic geology,geological environment and mineral resources development.The method is based on the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process(FAHP)method to calculate the weight of each evaluation factor,and then calculate the evaluation grade of the corresponding evaluation unit.The overall environmental quality evaluation result of the study area will be achieved ultimately.(3)The environmental quality area showed a decline,the area of general region and poor region of environmental quality had a certain rise,the proportion of the area of general region of environmental quality and the proportion of the area of poor region of environmental quality.The overall change trend of environmental quality has been shown to be fast and slow.In 2013,the transition year was fast,and the change trend was slowed after 2013.The main reason is that the 12 th Five-Year plan issued by the State Council in 2013 reduced the market share of coal resources.(4)The following conclusions can be found according to the results of environmental quality assessment: The poor quality of the region is mainly concentrated in the mining surface,the general area is concentrated in other areas of mine land area.Relevant departments of the mine environmental governance is restored in the later treatment should focus on mining pit,the second is the other feature covers an area in mines,which facilitates faster and more effective governance for environmental restoration.
