| As the Shandong Canal opened in mid-late Ming dynasty,the canal seacoast in Shandong region was with radical and profound social changes,and about its culture,economics,social morality and other aspects were all be changed.It was made poverty history,and became to the wealthiest region in north China.In this paper,we make the mid-late Ming dynasty as a research background,the research perspective is about the canal culture,and our research object is aim to the women’s dress in the canal seacoast of Shandong region.We choose three different classes of females that they are urban women,rural women and prostitutes to analyze the female’s clothing,accessory,hairdo,makeup look,etc.And the conclusion is that the dress for urban women in the canal seacoast of Shandong region was same as the Ming dynasty’s vogue,and as well to show a unique region characteristic.In mid-late Ming dynasty,the female dress were learned from the capital city and Jiangnan region,and they also use their own fabrics and handicraft to form a idiosyncratic image of women’s dress.With the developing of the commodity economy and social morality’s changing,the women in the region can freely choose the clothing with their personal preferences and economic conditions,then it’s made the dress became richness and colorful.We use the openness and inclusiveness,diversity and unity,liquidity and stability of canal culture to analyze the changing of image of women’s dress.And about the conclusion,the variation of the social environment were affected the image of women’s dress in the region.Through the Shandong Canal’s opened,it’s changed the economics,culture,social morality and social structure in the region.Moreover,it’s also brings the positive influence of image of women’s dress. |
