Since May 2008,the hearth sidewall temperature of No.4 BF rise severely,which have had a significant impact on the normal production of blast furnace.So blast furnace has to use grouting,greatly limiting the production,huge sedation and other measures to control the sidewall rise.Therefore,the forth blast furnace must have a research on hearth sidewall temperature control technology.This research mainly include taphole area maintenance,hearth intensive cooling,thermocouple repair and diagnostic gap.The purpose is to use these techniques to improve operations and hearth sidewall temperature control and monitoring systems,to look for erosion mechanism sidewall refractory hearth and hearth gap generation principle.Firstly,according to the specific production situation,strengthen the maintenance of the hearth from the operation and the molten iron,control the temperature of the hearth sidewall,slow down the speed of the hearth refractory erosion.The result is to ensure the stability of the sidewall temperature.Secondly,by means of conducting intensive cooling improvements and control measures of hearth,it makes good cooling effect on hearth.Meanwhile,the repair techniques of failed thermocouple were studied to find the means of thermocouple repair,so as to grasp the true temperature changes of hearth sidewall.Finally,the diagnosis of the technical gap of hearth were studied.After the gap emerged,grouting was used to prevent and eliminate gap hearth.Differences were in different parts of the air gap for existing forms and sources.Under the guidance of the theory of practice and exploration,summed up a set of effective diagnostic criteria of hearth air gap,cured hearth longevity maintenance of daily behavior and safeguard measures of blast furnace hearth longevity sustained,long-term.Through research and practical implementation of the above activities,perfect No.4 blast furnace sidewall maintenance techniques and detection system of hearth;preliminary explorethe mechanism of erosion and hearth sidewall gap generated;establish hearth taphole area maintenance,intensive cooling,thermocouple repair and diagnostic technology gap;Summarize a set of technical specifications.In No.4 blast furnace hearth longevity maintenance,achieved positive results.The controlled degree of hearth sidewall gradually increased.The situation is decreasing that due to the sidewall temperature limit the impact of the blast furnace capacity,technical and economic indicators.Currently,the production capacity is higher than in previous years under the premise.No.4 blast furnace hearth sidewall is stable and controlled,so that reach the intended target.
