Vinyl acetate produced by Sinopec Sichuan Vinylon works is obtained by synthesis of acetylene and acetic acid.Acetone,acetaldehyde,crotonaldehyde,propyl acetate and vinyl propionate were synthesized with the main reaction.To obtain high purity of vinyl acetate,we use distillation and extraction process piecewise purification to recycle acetaldehyde,acetone.But a small fraction of organic matter cannot be recycled,and it was called vinyl acetate wastewater.The water content can reach 96.00% in vinyl acetate wastewater and the vinyl acetate content is 2.30%.Recovery vinyl acetate produced by Chongqing Huawei industrial co.,LTD.is extracted and purified by distillation and extraction from vinyl acetate wastewater.It is mainly used to produce oil or fuel oil,and requires different requirements in different uses.According to the product market demand and the further separation of acetone,we need a more accurate analysis of the composition of recovery vinyl acetate,an optimization analysis method must be established.Through the recycling of vinyl acetate production process flow carding,the components are water,acetaldehyde,acetone,crotonaldehyde,vinyl acetate,propyl acetate and vinyl propionate.The method for simultaneous determination of seven different components in recovery vinyl acetate by gas chromatography was established after the study of historical documents at home and abroad.The effects of separation temperature and reflux ratio on separation efficiency were investigated to prove its applicability.Then the linear relationship,repeatability and recovery rate of spiked samples were examined,the linear correlation coefficient(R)is more than 0.996,the recoveries ranged from 99.2% to 106.9%,the relative standard deviations(RSD)were less than 4.75%.Compared with the original analysis method,the error rate decreased from 44.5% to 0.24%.The simultaneous determination of seven different components in the recovery vinyl acetate by gas chromatography shows that it is suitable for the company.
