With the continuous development of the equipment manufacturing industry,product complexity is more and more high,put forward higher requirements for manufacturing enterprises R & D capability.Based on the above requirements,the rapid development of composite processing machine,can be clamped once most parts of the process,from which greatly improve the production efficiency.But the development the composite machine needs a large number of designs and experimental analysis,the cost is high,the long research period.Virtual prototyping technology is a new design method,the design method can reduce the cost of machine design,but also can shorten the product development cycle.In this paper,turn milling machine as the research object,the functional components of the research and design of the virtual prototype technology.First established the general scheme of machine tool,a turn milling machine model,and the main transmission system was designed.Then,the machine spindle components of the dynamic characteristics research.The spindle assembly of the first six order natural frequency and vibration mode,and the amplitude frequency characteristic curve,the analysis found that the highest speed machine design is lower than the first critical speed of 75%,shows that the dynamic characteristic of machine tool can meet the design requirements.At the end of the spindle box for the thermal analysis,the temperature distribution of the spindle box was not found,The deformation part of large surface area,and the optimization is carried out.Analysis showed that after optimization,the thermal characteristics of the spindle box is significantly improved,thereby improving the machining accuracy of the machine.The main research contents include the following aspects:(1)Describes the background and significance of the research,clarifies the research objectives and content.To study the structure of turn milling machine,on machine project,establish machining machine tool model by SolidWorks software,analysis the working principle of the main transmission system of machine tool,and has carried on the detailed design,final the virtual prototype model of the machine tool was set up.By analyzing the force of the cutter head,the quantitative calculation of cutting force,the establishment of digital simulation model is accurate.(2)Research on dynamic characteristics of machine tool spindle using finite element analysis software ANSYS.Two methods were used to mesh the headstock,analysis of mesh quality,and the main spindle box,a spindle assembly of modal analysis,harmonic response analysis,the natural frequency of the two modes,as well as in the exciting force the amplitude frequency curve,the analysis results show that the dynamic characteristics of machine tools are designed to meet the design requirements.(3)Thermal characteristics analysis of machine tool spindle box using ANSYS finite element analysis software.The thermal parameters of spindle box is calculated on the basis of calculation results,the equivalent substitution in the finite element analysis of the spindle box of thermal structure coupling,found that the spindle box of uneven temperature distribution,deformation of large surface area,and optimized for this problem.The result showed that after optimization,both sides of the wall temperature distribution of the number from 5 before improvement,reduced to 1,the temperature gradient decreases 80%;the maximum deformation part surface area from the 2×10-5m2 reduced to 1.1×10-5m2,reduced by about 45%.spindle box Thermodynamic performance has been significantly improved,so that the machining precision machining machine tool has been improved.
