Copper smelting ash is one of the most representative copper waste materials in industry,which not only contains Cu,Zn,Pb,Ni,Co and other valuable elements,including arsenic and other harmful elements.If this waste is not treated timely,will not only caused serious environmental pollution,but also resulted in a waste of resources.With the rapid development of China’s economy,the dependence of resources is increasing,resulting in soared of non-ferrous metals and rare metals prices in recent years.Recovered from industrial waste valuable metals,accelerate the use of secondary resources,for the needs of national econormic development has practical significance and urgency.In this paper,a copper smelting enterprises in China’s soot as raw materials,the comprehensive recovery of all kinds of valuable metals.The replacement experiment,iron removal and recovery process of zinc were adopted.The main results:(1)oxidation,neutralization,in addition to iron and arsenic test results show that:Not only the iron removal rate is high,and arsenic slag easy to filter,short to time consuming.After liquid iron contain Cu:0.01g/L,Fe:0.005g/L,Zn:21.08 g/L,Cd:0.252 g/L,As:0.004g/L。(2)The technical conditions for purifying the liquid after removing iron by using Zn powder:the composition of the liquid after purification:Cu:0.002g/L,Fe:0.001g/L,Zn:21.50g/L,Cd:0.002g/L,As:0.001 g/L.(3)Zinc recovery as basic zinc carbonate product.not only the process is short,but also is simple,suitable for industrial production.(4)The results of the whole process shows that:Copper is recovered in the form of sponge copper,the recovery rate is up to 97.3%;Zinc is recovered in the form of basic zinc carbonate,the recovery rate is up to 94.36%;Lead,bismuth,silver is recovered in the form of lead bismuth silver slag recovery,recovery rate is respectively up to 99.58%,99.25%and 99.61%;Cadmium is recovered in the form of sponge cadmium,the recovery rate is up to 44.41%;Iron and arsenic are removed mainly in the form of arsenic slag,iron removal rate can reach more than 99%;Arsenic mainly with slag removal,of which about 58%of arsenic into lead bismuth silver slag,about 40%of the arsenic arsenic into the slag.The above research provides a theoretical and practical basis for the realization of comprehensive recycling and utilization of valuable metals in copper smelting ash.At the same time,it is very important for the comprehensive utilization of environmental protection and resources.
