Both the incidences and mortality of lung cancer is highest among the malignant tumors, and the incidence still increases year by year.Lung cancer has become a threat to our health and life. However, the etiology of lung cancer is not clear yet,and it is difficult to diagnose early. So it is important to identify the etiology of lung cancer and take precautions to reduce the risk of suffering from lung cancer. In recent years, air pollution is serious and haze affects most parts of China.Pollutants in the atmosphere is a major environmental hazard to human health, especially to the human respiratory system. Thus, the relationships between air pollutants and respiratory disease have to been researched intensely. In this paper, the basic studies have several aspects: obtaining the air pollutant data and the medical information of lung cancer patients in Tianjin and establishing a database management system;using data mining technology and non-additive measure theory to form the knowledge base;analyzing the relationship between lung cancer incidences and air pollutants. The major work includes:1)Four thousand(4000)patients across 16 districts in Tianjin were studied for lung cancer incidences. All patients were in the General Hospital attached to Tianjin Medical University. And the air pollutant data comes from the monitoring stations of Geographic Information System(GIS)during 2015.The database management system of air pollutant data and lung cancer patients data is set up with Oracle and MFC.The program prepares a friendly interface to connect with the background database system with ADO technology. In order to improve the efficiency of data storage, retrieval and update.2)Rough set theory is used to extract rules that can reveal the relationship between air pollutants and total lung cancer incidences, male incidence, female incidence, adenocarcinoma incidence, squamous cell carcinoma incidence and other lung cancer type incidence. In the meantime, decision table reduction was used and rules with a high value of decision-making were obtained.3)Non-additive measure theory is used to analyze the interaction between different pollutants. The fuzzy measures and Shapley interaction index is calculated, based on the Choquet integral model,to deeply reveal the relationship between air pollutants and lung cancer incidences. The results can provide reference for air pollution control and disease prevention.
