Along with the continuous development of modern enterprises,the project schedule management has become a key control method for the highly-efficient corporate management.From the perspective of chemical companies,the project management of specific installation project can not only ensure the accuracy of the installation process,but also guarantee the high efficiency of the current installation project.With respect to the EPC Contract for Shanxi Xinfa Project which was entered into between Shenyang Aluminum&Magnesium Engineering and Research Institute Company Limited and Shanxi Xinfa Chemical Co.,Ltd.,the overall schedule was delayed due to the lack of project schedule management during the execution process,which had exerted some influence on the normal operation of Shanxi Xinfa Chemical Co.,Ltd.Therefore,this essay carries out a research on the schedule management for the current construction project of alumina baking furnace,aiming to demonstrate the effect of the current project schedule management theory on the practical engineering installation project through the method of project management.This paper firstly outlines the significance and purpose of the current research,which is followed by the proposed research ideas based on the systematic analysis of both domestic and overseas research status.The relevant theory of project schedule management is analyzed in the theory review.From the perspective of theoretical basis,the research is also conducted over the relevant schedule management methods and the typical classic theory in current academic community.Considering the general conditions of the current baking furnace installation project in Shanxi Xinfa Chemical Co.,Ltd.,and coupled with the corporate overall situations,the baking furnace installation project is hereby systematically analyzed.Furthermore,problems about the current baking furnace installation project are also put forward based on the status analysis and the basic survey conditions.Considering the main problems,the schedule model for the baking furnace construction project is optimized.Considering the critical path and relevant content about network plan,the current project schedule is also systematically optimized and analyzed.Finally,some problems about the baking furnace construction project can be addressed in practice through the construction of model,thus improving the installation efficiency and management performance as well.
