Titanium and its alloy,with great mechanical properties and biocompatibility,is the best selection for metal-ceramics restorations.The bond strength of porcelain and titanium affects its wide application.The research contents include that coating and borate bonding porcelain are prepared in the surface of Ti6Al4V alloy in order to improve the bond strength of porcelain and titanium alloy.(1)xSiO2-yTiO2-zZrO2(x+y+z=1)coating was prepared in the Ti6Al4V alloy surface,with improving the bond strengh of 5-7 MPa.The effect of composite coating is bigger than single-component coating.(2)Differential Thermal Analysis(DTA)and Thermal Dilatometer were used for studying the thermal properties of B2O3-La2O3-SrO,mainly the glass transition temperature(Tg),crystallizationg peak temperature(Tp)and the Coefficient of Thermal Expansion(CTE).The influence of the addition of Na2O and Al2O3 was researched for the thermal properties of B2O3-La2O3-SrO system.With the increase of Na2O,Tg and Tp were all decreased,meanwhile the chemical stability decreasing.The addition of Al2O3 will increase the chemical stability and adjust Tg,Tp,and CTE.By controlling the addition of Na2O and Al2O3 finds a applicable borate bonding porcelain,which has suitable thermal properties to Ti6Al4V and enough chemical stability.(3)Three point bending test was used for measuring the bonding strength between porcelain and Ti6Al4V in which borate bonding porcelain was used,with the maxmum of 49± 1.28 Mpa nearly twice than IS09693(25 MPa).Scanning Electron Microscope was use for observing the bonding porcelain surface sintered on the titanium alloy,the interface of Ti6Al4V-bonding agent-porcelain and the residual porcelain on the tianium alloy after porcelain fracture.Based on the data of three point bending test,critical strain energy release rate was calculated,with the maximum of 31.41 ±7.01J/m2.
