The Research On Dust Control In Semi-closed Cover Based On Numerical Simulation Of CFD

In this paper,the CFD simulation was conducted to study the effect of air distribution on dust control in a semi closed enclosure of a large shakeout machine in a foundry.There are four main purposes: understanding the air distribution of the semi-closed cover;strengthening the control of semi closed enclosure on dust by a series of optimization methods;simulating the air distribution in semi-closed enclosure under different temperature of heat source to be more close to the actual process;studying the dust motion track of different diameters.Combined the theory and practice,through the field test of a foundry in Ji'nan,the casting process and dust pollution have been mastered.Taken the sand industry which product more dust as the main research object,the field test result and simulation result have been compared.It proved to be a great consistency between them.Through the numerical analysis of dust control in the cover,the optimization of the cover structure have been made by adding air curtain upper the air inlet.Considering the actual process,in order to propose a sensible temperature range,different temperature of heat source have been placed in the semi-closed cover to analyze the effect of the temperature on air distribution.Using the discrete DPM model to simulate the motion trajectory of dust with different particles sizes,the analysis of the control of enclosure on dust with different sizes.In this paper,the optimization methods of semi-closed cover in a large shakeout machine could provide a reference for improving the control of cover on dust and provide reference and reference for dust control in the similar production process.In recent years,China have successively promulgated a series of dust control standard to reduce the dust pollution in the working environment.Therefore,the research of the dust control based on CFD simulation is significant to the semi-closed cover of shakeout machine.
