With the rapid growth of the global economy, unbalanced distribution of oil resources and its fundamental status in a country's economy determines the important position of the world oil trade in the world economy and then shownup by the world the importance of oil transport network. The world's oil production and consumption distribution are very imbalance, whether the oil importer or exporter, oil transportation has very huge influence on the country's economy, therefore, the invulnerability research of the world oil transportation network based on cascading failure has important significance. This thesis firstly elaborated the related basic theories and concepts of the complex network and its cascading failure, and depicts the world oil transportation network that it should be a directed weighted network. To build the world oil transportation directional weighted network model by analyzing the supply and demand structure and the transportation structure of the world oil transportation network, and then analyze the topological characteristics. The study found that the gap among the node strength in the world oil transportation network is large, and the world oil transportation is mainly undertaken by a handful of nodes, and the world oil transportation network presents a local clustering structure. For the first time, this thesis sets out from the point of view of the minimum demand of network nodes,to establish the cascading failure invulnerability model of the world oil transportation network.Different with the previous researches on cascading failure invulnerability which werebased on the maximum capacity of nodes, this thesis describes the cascading failure process from the consideration of the minimum demand of nodes, and according to the load-capacity model proposes a new load redistribution strategy, which is called on-demand-load-distribution strategy. Finally,to realize the simulation and evaluation of the world oil transportation network cascading failure invulnerability by computer programming. It is found that under the random attack strategy, the network is not prone to cascading failure, and the invulnerability is strong; In the export node strength priority strategy and the maximum load priority strategy, the network is more prone to cascading failure, and the invulnerability is weak.At last, according to the characteristics of the world oil transportation network and the evaluation of the cascading failure invulnerability, the corresponding optimization measures are put forward.
