Nitrogen heterocyclic is a class of ligand widely studied and applied.1,4,7-triaz-acyclononane(TACN)and 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane(cyclen)as the represent-ative ring ligand with three or four nitrogen atoms have been researched widely.Beca-use of excellent symmetry,smaller cavities,stability and easy to form the sites of cat-alytic activity sites,nitrogen heterocyclic have aroused people' s interest.Especially in recent years,nitrogen heterocyclic ligands with cantilever have attracted people' a-ttention because of the flexibility and diversity of the cantilever.The cantilevers mak-ing the ligands and complexes have the characteristics of diversity and high stability,some of which have potential applications.Four kinds of mononuclear complexes were synthesized by a multi-step method.Ethyl 4,7-bis((1H-benzo[d]imidazol-2-yl)methyl)-1,4,7-triazonane-l-carboxylate;di-ethyl 2,2-((7-(ethoxycarbonyl)-1,4,7-triazonane-1,4-diyl)bis(methylene))bis(1 H-ben-zo[d]imidazole-l-carboxylate);((4,7-bis((1H-benzo[d]imidazol-2-yl)methyl)-1,4,7-tri azonan-1-yl)methyl)phosphonic acid;(((1,4,7,10-Tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7,10-te-trayl)tetrakis(methylene))tetrapho-sphonicacid),and their complexes[CoL3Cl]PF6,[CoL4Cl]PF6,[NiLs]PF6,NiL6 were o-btained.Those metal complexes were characteriz-ed by element analysis,IR,X-ray,the interaction of complex with calf thymus DNA(ct-DNA)was studied using UV spect-ra,fluorescent spectra and viscosity.The comp-lex was measured for its antimicrobi-al activity by agar diffusion method.X-Ray single crystal diffraction measurements were used to characterize the crystals of[CoL3Cl]PF6,[CoL4Cl]PF6,[NiL5]PF6,NiL6.The crystal ographic date are as follows:[CoL3Cl]PF6 is Monoclinic crystal system with space group P21/n,a = 9.34(5)A,b = 24.91(9)A,c = 14.74(7)A,?=90.00°,?=90.00°,?= 121.5(3)°,V=2924(23)3,Z=1.[CoL4Cl]PF6 is triclinic crystal system with space group P-1,a = 8.631(10)A,b=12.4312(3)A,c=18.8877(4)A,?=982.792°,?=85.777°,?-87.349°,V=2003.65(7)3,Z=2.[NiLs]PF6 is tetragonal crystal system with space group I41/a,a = 26.069(3)A,b=26.069(3)A,c =18.2797(19)A,?=90.00°??=90.00°,?=90.00°,V=12423(2)3,Z=16.NiL6 is orthorhombic crystal system with space group Pccn,a = 15.2269(5)A,b?9.2769(3)A,c=13.0842(4)A,?=90.00°,?=90.00°,?=90.00°,V=1848.25(10)3,Z=4.
