With the continuous exploitation of offshore oil resources and the development of maritime transportation,oil spill accidents occur frequently.Oil pollution has caused serious impact on the entire marine ecological environment,as well as living standard and economic development of the surrounding residents.Meanwhile,the rapid development of offshore oil extraction has not only promoted the continuous development of maritime transportation but also resulting significantly increase of oil spill accidents.Thus,it is important to develop the prevention of oil spill and applied appropriate emergency measures to minimize the hazards in order to keep the sustainable development of offshore oil.In this paper,a numerical model of maritime oil spill is established.The behavior and destination of oil slick is simulated to applied to Luanjiakou port area in Bohai Bay.The paper briefly introduced the current pollution situation,hazards and characteristics of maritime oil spill.Then,the development and research status of oil spill in domestic and overseas were particularly expounded.With discretizing two-dimensional shallow equation by finite element method,an oil spill hydrodynamic-numerical model was established.As the fluid boundary condition was defined by the method harmonic analysis,the model was verified by the measured data from tidal stations and hydrological observation stations.In the simulation,the extension and drifting model of oil slick under the conditions of wind,wave and randomness of dispersion were proposed.The oil slick thickness equation was derived according to the principle of mass conservation,and the scale of long and short axis of oil film was obtained and verified on the bases of the law of Fick.Then,the expansion and drifting scale of oil film was verified by flume experiment.An oil film edge tracking mode was proposed with considering the expansion of oil film on the edge and observing oil thickness spread and weathering in the edge.In addition,the location of oil film centroid and edge particles were confirmed by local search method in order to reduce the calculation.The method of particles anti-penetration was used on the solid boundary to avoid high-speed oil particles passing through the boundary.Hence,the oil spill fate model includes the process of evaporation,emulsification and landed adsorption was built up in this paper.In sum,an oil spill model of Luanjiakou port area in Bohai Bay was established by combining the topographic and meteorological conditions of Bohai Bay.The oil spill behavior and destination under different dynamical conditions,oil spill pots and the ways of oil spill were simulated and analyzed,which provide the theoretical basis for the prevention and emergency management.
