Dust movement regularity in comprehensive mechanized heading face is the key scientific issues for the principle and technology of dust prevention.However,according to the present researches,the basic problems on the movement,diffusion and distribution of dust and the changing regularity as well as their connection are still unclear due to the complexity of dust movement and the changing process.Based on our former researches on gas-solid two phase flow,the special topic on systemic study of dust movement regularity in comprehensive mechanized heading face is presented:Firstly,the geometric model of rectangular roadway was established.The particles was treated as pseudo-fluid.The distribution and movement characteristics of the particle phase in the roadway were studied using Euler method.And the influence of air supply speed,dust production and ventilation on the distribution of dust particles were obtained.At the same time the three-dimensional air field details was gained in the roadway.Secondly,based on the CFD-DEM simulation platform,the air field obtained from Euler method was discretized,the wind field obtained by Euler method was discretized and the particles in the grid were tracked by discrete element method.Basing on the hard sphere model,the problem of the collision between particles was solved through the DSMC method and the Modified Nanbu method.The distribution of particles with different particle size was studied and the influence of air supply velocity and ventilation on the distribution of dust particles were obtained.It appears particles whirlpool in some conditions.Then,with the consideration of the influence of the roadheader on the ventilat io n,the arched roadway model was established.Based on the Euler-Lagrange method,the whole process of dust particle migration was simulated by using the discrete phase model.The influence of roadheader and the air curtain on the dust distribution was obtained.It found that the dust particles behind the roadheader tends to settle and the concentration is rising.The research results is helpful for further understanding of the essence of dust movement,which could provide more suitable scientific guidance for the principle and technology of dust prevention and dust suppression measures.
