The Spatial Distribution Of Environmental Pollution In Chinaand Its Influencing Factors

The problem of environmental pollution is becoming more and more prominent with the rapid development of economy.China’s economy has a rapid development after the Reform and Opening-up,but the attendant environmental pollution has gradually attracted people’s attention.As is known to all,China has experienced the baptism of sand storm in a few years ago,and now suffering the attack of the fog and haze.According to statistics,the national average fog and haze days reached 35.9 days in 2013,over the same period increased by 18.3 days,fog and haze days is most of the year since 1961.The area of middle east ministry is the fog and haze weather prone areas,fog and haze days number range is 50 ~ 100 days in most parts of the southern part of North China to northern Jiangnan,some areas are even more than the 100 days.Obviously China’s environmental pollution situation is not optimistic.The global environmental pollution research is analyzed by the relevant theory of environmental pollution and the literature review in this paper,and then the overall situation of China’s environmental pollution is generally analyzed by describing the spatial distribution of China’s environmental pollution;This paper makes empirical research on the influence factors of environmental pollution,in the empirical process,factor analysis method is used to evaluate the situation of China’s environmental pollution,and then with the panel data,the fixed effect model is used to analyze the impact factors of environmental pollution in 31 provinces and cities of China;Finally,the conclusion is that,from 2004 to2013,the ten years of the more serious pollution areas are Hebei,Shanxi,Inner Mongolia,Liaoning,Jiangsu,Shandong,Henan and Guangdong,while environmental pollution of Beijing,Tianjin,Hainan,Yunnan,Tibet,Qinghai and other places is lighter.Using the IPAT model of environmental pressure assessment,the affecting factors of the environmental pollution are analyzed,the economic development level and the quantity of the population have some inhibition to the improvement of environmental quality,and the technology efficiency and the degree of trade openness are negatively related to environmental pollution.These two factors are the promotion of environmental protection.According to the conclusion,this paper puts forward constructive suggestions fromfour aspects: adjusting and optimizing the industrial structure,changing the mode of economic growth,the development of green urbanization,and increasing environmental input.
