Shape memory polymer,a kind of smart material,can deform without mechanical assistance,and realize the shape memory process from memory initial state to fixed variable state and to restoration initial state.The material mixed with carbon fiber was used to be reinforcements.The high performance shape memory carbon fiber composites were produced by this way,which contains excellent properties of those materials,but the composite material production process is complex.3D printing technology fabricate complicated components that is applied to the composite molding process,which is of great significance to promote the development of shaped memory carbon fiber composites and expand the applica tion of 3D printing technology.In this paper,the important properties including epoxy resin,PLA,cyanate shape memory polymer composites were studied.3D printing technology was designed as a new process of carbon fiber composites.After testing the dynamic and static properties of the materials,the mechanical properties of composite materials were compared.With analyzing the recovery rate of 3D printed shape memory composites,the performance of the printed samples was evaluated.The constitutive relationship of shape memory polymer and its composites was studied.After processing carbon fiber epoxy resin composites by vacuum bag molding method,the dynamic and static properties were tested.Comparing different angles produce composites,the mechanical properties of the composites was contrasted.In addition,the experiments tested the recovery rate and recovery force of the carbon fiber cyanate esters composites.The composite material 3D printing plan was designed according to the plan.The reprap prusa i3 printer was modified and debugged,which was showed the properties of carbon fiber composites based on PLA studies.In order to improve the printing performance,the three dimensional models of printer nozzle were constructed,after researching the driving force of the extruder,the temperature field of the printing nozzle was analyzed.Carbon fiber PLA composite was manufactured by twin extruder.It proved that carbon fiber composite materials were printed successfully.When it was under different printing temperature,speed and layer thickness,the mechanical properties of carbon fiber composite materials were studied.It was showed that experimental specimens which under the different printing parameters were analyzed.The fracture properties of carbon fiber composites were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),the SEM shows that microstructure of carbon fiber composites were distributed in the matrix.After investigating the matrix and reinforcement morphology of the 3D carbon fiber reinforced PLA composites in different temperatures.The shape recovery of composites was tested.
