Smart materials and structures are being payed more and more attention as a kind of material which has so many excellent performance. Shape memory polymer composites(SMPCs) are one of the representative materials and it is becoming one of the hotspots in engineering and academic development areas at present.Trans-1,4-polyisoprene (TPI) is a kind of synthetic polymer which has the function of shape memory. Because of its excellent performance such as dynamic low heat, small rolling resistance, excellent performance of dynamic fatigue and abrasion resistance etc. , it has been widely used in various areas. But it still has some weak points such as small elastic modulus and strength, low creep resistance etc. So chopped carbon fiber is added in order to improve these properties of TPI. The main research contents of this article are as follows:In the experiment, the method of preparing the different mass fraction of specimens is hot-pressing molding, and the material of the specimens is chopped carbon fiber reinforced trans-1,4-polyisoprene (TPI) which is a kind of shape memory polymer composite materials.Under the different temperature, doing the shape memory performance testing, mechanics performance testing, thermal and mechanical performance testing and so on. To find out the suitable scope of the carbon fiber mass fraction, it can be making the material has good mechanical properties and shape memory performance.First of all, through the analysis of the tensile experiments at room temperature,different carbon fiber mass fraction content of mechanical properties of the specimens, the stress-strain curve can be made. In order to make the specimen has good elastic performance, it should be to find out the most suitable carbon fiber content through the analysis of the influence of carbon fiber content on the mechanical properties of the specimens. Through the cyclic tensile experiment at room temperature to get the influence of residual strain and stress - strain relationship on carbon fiber content of the specimen.Secondly, through the resilience experiment and crystallization experiments under the different temperature to analyze the influence of Shape of the shape recovery rate, response rate, specimen recrystallization temperature by the carbon fiber content. To find out the suitable scope of the carbon fiber mass fraction, it can be making the material has good shape memory performance. At last, under the different temperature, doing the tensile experiment and cyclic tensile experiment on the specimen of different carbon fiber content,in order to analyze by control variate method and analyze the influence of Temperature and carbon content on the specimen tensile stress-strain relationship, the specimen damage when the maximum stress and strain, tensile residual strain change cycle stress-strain relation and the cyclic tensile specimen.Through a lot of experimental analysis,under the condition of the same ambient temperature, We conclude that the carbon fiber should have a certain mass fraction which is between 5% and 15%, when the specimen tensile failure it can make the maximum tensile stress and the maximum strain value to be highest,make the specimen to be larger elastic modulus, the response rate to be fastest and the recrystallization temperature to be lowest.Otherwise during the cyclic tensile the specimen can get the minimum residual strain。... |
